Over the weekend of 28th & 29th April, Thorrington Hall woods were open to the public with kind permission from Gibbon Farms. Walking through the woods on a long walk you were able to see a carpet of bluebells under the trees which are all natural. From 11.00 am to 3.00 pm the woods where open to walk round and finish up in the church where refreshments were served, also being able to see the newly finished building work and use the new social area.
All money raised over the weekend went to church funds. Although the weather was not on our side this year, there were still a great number of people attending and over £600 raised.
All thanks goes to all the people that helped over the weekend, special thanks goes to John Jinks for manning the woods out in the cold.
